Got a question, a correction, or a setup that didn't behave the way a guide said it would? We'd like to hear about it. PS2 BIOS is run by a small team, and a lot of what makes the guides better comes from readers who take a minute to write in.
The quickest way to reach us
Email us at workn01003@gmail.com. That address covers everything: questions about a guide, corrections, press, partnerships and copyright notices. We read every message ourselves.
Replies usually take a few days. Weekends and busy stretches can stretch that out, so please be patient. If you haven't heard back after a week, send a short follow-up. Messages do occasionally end up in spam folders, and we'd rather get a second email than miss your first one.
When you need help with a setup problem
Most of the mail we get is people stuck partway through an emulator setup. We're happy to help where we can, and you'll get a much faster answer if your first message includes a few details:
The emulator you're using and its version number
Your operating system or device, for example Windows 11, a Steam Deck or an Android phone with its model name
The guide and the step where things went wrong
The exact error message, or a clear description of what you see, such as a black screen or a game that closes after the logo
What you've already tried
A screenshot helps a lot, especially of the emulator's settings page. If your problem involves a BIOS file, tell us which console model it was dumped from, since that narrows things down quickly.
The more specific you are, the less back-and-forth it takes. "It doesn't work" is hard to answer. "PCSX2 shows an empty BIOS list after I picked my folder on Linux" is something we can actually help with.
Corrections and updates
Emulator software changes fast, and sometimes a guide falls behind. If you find a wrong folder path, an outdated menu name, a broken link or a step that no longer works, please tell us. Include the page, what's wrong, and a link to an official source if you have one. We'll check it, fix the page, and credit you if you'd like to be named.
Things we can't help with
To save everyone some time, here's what we won't be able to do:
Supply BIOS files, game ISOs or ROMs. We don't host or share them, and we don't send links to them. Please don't ask. Our guides explain how to dump a BIOS from a console you own.
Fix bugs in an emulator itself. If you think you've found a genuine bug in PCSX2 or another emulator, the best place for it is that project's own issue tracker, where the developers can see it.
Give legal advice. We write about how emulation works in general terms, but we're not lawyers and can't tell you what's allowed where you live.
Copyright and DMCA notices
If you're a rights holder and you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, please read our DMCA page first. It explains what a notice needs to include and where to send it, so it reaches us properly and can be dealt with quickly.
Advertising and partnerships
If you'd like to work with us, email us with "Partnership" in the subject line and a short description of what you have in mind. We only take on things that fit what the site is about, and anything sponsored would be clearly labeled as such. We don't sell reviews, and we don't publish guest posts that point readers toward illegal downloads.
A note on your privacy
Anything you send us is used only to reply to you and to improve the site. We don't add your address to a mailing list or pass it on. If you'd like us to delete a conversation, just ask. You can read more in our privacy policy.
Thanks for reading, and for writing in.
