Privacy Policy

Effective date: 31 October 2026

This policy explains what information PS2 BIOS ("we", "us") collects when you visit yourdomain.com, what we do with it, and what choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain language. If something is unclear, email us at workn01003@gmail.com and we'll explain.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message. If you leave a comment, we receive the name, email address and website you enter in the form, along with the comment itself. You don't need an account to read the site.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools record some technical details when you visit. That typically includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that sent you here, and the date and time of your visit. This information doesn't tell us who you are. We use it to see which guides are useful and to spot problems.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use them to keep the site working, to remember simple preferences, and to understand how the site is used. We may also use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, which set their own cookies and report anonymous usage statistics to us.

If we show advertising, our advertising partners, such as Google AdSense, may use cookies to display ads and to measure how they perform. Those partners may use information about your visits to this and other sites to show ads that are relevant to you. You can learn more about how Google uses data and manage ad personalization in your Google account's ad settings.

You can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete them, and some let you block third-party cookies only. If you block all cookies, parts of the site may not work as expected.

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

Run, maintain and improve the site and its guides

Reply to your emails and comments

Understand which pages readers find useful, and where they get stuck

Keep the site secure and deal with spam or abuse

Who we share it with

We share information only where it's needed to run the site. That means service providers such as our web host, our analytics provider and, if we show ads, our advertising partners. They process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights, our users or the site from harm.

How long we keep information

We keep emails for as long as we need them to answer you and handle any follow-up, and generally delete them within two years. Comments stay on the site until they're removed. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics settings, which is usually a few months to a couple of years. Server logs are kept for a shorter time and then deleted.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including using HTTPS across the site. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, though, so we can't promise absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you're in California, you can ask what categories of personal information we've collected and request deletion, and we won't treat you differently for doing so.

To make a request, email workn01003@gmail.com. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act on it.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please email us and we'll delete it.

Where your information goes

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers use for transfers of personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on the site. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
